Howdy, south central Texas.

I have a 8×16 raised bed. Is there any chance I can have a successful season (next spring) with this volume?

If so, tips for high yields?

North Texas here. In all honesty that is not nearly enough room. I have five 8 foot long x 2.5 foot wide grow benches and they can only fit 4 fully grown jalapeño plants. Given my plants are 4 feet tall, but this would be way way too crowded in my opinion. I would space the Chiles out to every other with an empty row in between and that’s still be tight – good luck with you garden planning, seeing some delicious varieties on here 🌶️

What is a Durango Poblano? Google doesn’t turn up any results. I haven’t heard of different poblano varieties before!

Yeah thats pretty ambitious. I dont think the spacing is too awful, but Reaching 4 feet into a bed to tend to a plant in the middle sounds awful, but thats just me.
