Hi everyone,

Should you check my post history, the very first thing I posted was my 3 year old habeneros, one of which had a rotten year and was recovering after repot. This is their 4th summer growing and I wanted to share them both again should it inspire people to overwinter their peppers. Will overwinter again per usual. Thanks for looking!

That’s fuckin awesome! Where or what zone are you in and how do you overwinter if I may ask? Growing hots for the first time myself in upstate NY and want to pick 6-8 of my favorites to try and overwinter. Any help/knowledge is appreciated, thanks!!

i might try this with one of mine this year because they are kind of cute. mine grew some massive 1″ thick stems this year.

Nice! I am planning on keeping a few of my faves as houseplants over the winter too. I used to do it with jalapeños… put them in a nook under a 24 hour fluorescent that I used as a bathroom nightlight, and they’d give another small crop in February which was a night treat in the arctic climate I lived in at the time.
