My local Ingles grocery store had a flash sale on certain items this weekend, and I took advantage of their sale on whole pork loins: $1.78 a pound! I got 2 loins (apologies for the picture of just one, but there were 2 😊). It came out to about $31 for almost 18 pounds of meat! Waco, Texas

I cut them into eight smaller roasts and have them stored in my freezer. They’ll be featured on our Sunday dinner menu once or twice a month, along with leftovers πŸ˜‹, for the next few months! Please, no snide or negative comments; I’m just sharing my find.

    Sweet deal!!!

My tummy doesn’t like pork much but I have it every now and then.

Would love to hear about what you make with them!

The BJ’S and Costco here usually have whole loins for 1.80 to 1.90 per lb. I get one every other week and cut my own roasts and chops. Saves a ton when chops and roasts are 3 to 5 a lb prepacked.

There’s an Ingles market in Waco, Texas? I didn’t know they went that far!

That’s like seeing a Big Y in West Virginia!
