

Hi! Beginner macaron enthusiast here! ☕️ Just tried to bake a batch of licorice macarons for the first time and I would call this a success. The only thing that is bothering me are the feet. I would like for them to be bigger. While they were baking (I was watching the whole time lol) they seemed to get bigger but then deflated. Is that normal? Is there something that directly affects the size of the feet? Should I even try to make them bigger or just accept them like this?
I am using the french method, 30min rest and 150° degrees for 15 minutes. Thank you in advance! 🤍✨
