For many that live abroad , the act of gardening can be a way to connect and have access to homegrown food we miss from back home. Filipino favourite vegetable; like Pechay (bok choy), bittermelon, sitaw (long beans), saluyot (Jute), upo, eggplant and kangkong can definitely be grown even in a Canadian garden. You'll be able to recreate traditional dishes too.
I donβt get people, who spend all this time and sweat, and harvest not ripe tomatoes π€¦π»ββοΈπ€¦π»ββοΈπ€¦π»ββοΈπ€¦π»ββοΈπ€¦π»ββοΈ

I'm grateful to hear the Tagalog names too (not sure what area you're from so I'm just saying Tagalog)
Pechay is pechay. Bokchoy resembles pechay but its not, the steam is green in bokchoy.
