The Corned Beef Hash Pie is a comforting and hearty dish that combines the flavours of a classic corned beef hash with a savoury pie or casserole. This dish features a filling made from diced corned beef, tender potatoes, and onions, all sautéed with garlic and a hint of thyme for a robust, savoury base. The mixture is enriched with Worcestershire sauce and a flavorful beef stock or gravy, giving it a rich, satisfying taste.

The filling is then topped with a layer of creamy mashed potatoes, made even more luscious with butter and milk, creating a smooth, golden crust as it bakes. Grated cheddar cheese is sprinkled over the top for an extra layer of indulgence, adding a melted, gooey finish. This Corned Beef Hash Pie is perfect as a main dish for a family dinner, offering a warm, comforting meal that’s easy to prepare and packed with nostalgic flavours.

  2. The best Chefs and Cooks in the World always know how to make a crowd pleaser like this too

  3. Just lovely, Rik. Watching your videos always gives me a great appetite come dinner time 🙂
Do you ever use a mortar and pestle for garlic and ginger paste?

  4. Oh stop it Rik! Watching this at 5am coz I’m wide awake, & now my belly is rumbling for corned beef hash pie!
My mum was a Lancashire lass & taught me how to make corned beef hot pot…..this is same but different,if that makes sense lol

    Either way…..bloomin delish 👌😋

  5. Just made this for dinner mate just out of the oven.
Wish there was somewhere we could send pics of our attempts of your recipes.
    Cheers

  6. Hi Rik. Just discovered this channel and so pleased we found you again. We followed “Not Another Curry” and weren’t aware you also had this channel. After the Shashlik recipe the NAC channel appeared to stop and we really missed it and wondered what happened…… then we by chance came across this channel. Yay !!! Riks back.
Loving the amount of recipes and will be giving them a try. Thanks for all you hard work. 👍🏻😊

  7. Loving it! Great dish, make it sometimes but go a bit easier on the oil….gotta watch the cholesterol level 😉😂

  8. Rik! Amazing dish mate and awesome video.
    Keep them coming!
What is the knife that you use for chopping and mashing the garlic. TIA.
    Again, thanks!

  9. My Dad called it corned Donk, wonder what that was short for, tried Hendersons relish, bit to vinegary for me. I tried making this with a hand full of frozen peas in the mix, worked great.

  10. Rik, I just love all of your recipes. You have a gift for putting people at ease, especially myself, when it comes to simple, yet often intimidating recipes such as pastry crust. Your Welsh rarebit was a huge hit with my friends and it’s the first time I have ever eaten it! You’ve made me less worried about measuring exactly and now I rely more on being a bit more creative with my cooking which makes the whole process more enjoyable. My only complaint is that I spend a lot of time watching your videos that I’m getting a bit behind on my chores lol !
Keep up the great videos and have a fantastic week!

  11. OMG that looks like a plate of heaven. Just bought you a coffee to celebrate nearly TWENTY MILLION VIEWS. Love the channel 😍

  12. Oh, you're KILLING ME Rik – all these gorgeous corned beef recipes and I can't make them! Please, I beg you to do a corned beef in a can recipe some time so I can finally have a go at all these delicious dishes. Thank you and very best wishes.

  13. Finally found a place in Chiang Mai that sells Corned Beef! Gekko Garden, a cross and a bit down the street from Pantip Plaza. Otherwise it's REALLY expensive, small cans from RimPing or Green's. Don't know if I have the skills to make it myself. NICE, This looks great.

  14. Really like your style rik , you have a great narrative and you make it seem simple , 😂 I’m from Liverpool and it is know as corn dog 😂
