Got some good stuff cooking, but keep having issues with this smoker’s (Black Label 1000) pellet hopper. Brisket cooked over night and I had to keep check every 2 to 3 hours because last time I did this the pellets did not distribute properly and the smoker shut off some time during the night. Seems the angle isn’t steep enough to where the pellets opposite of the feeder stay mounded up. So I have go and push the mounds down so pellets keep feeding. Anyone else have this same issue and hopefully found a way to fix this? Wish I had taken pics when it happened 😔

Funny, popped the hopper open soon as I submitted the post and there it was, perfect timing.
Take that grate off unless you’re prone to sticking your fingers in industrial equipment.
Whats the deal with parting the ribs out like that? I need the explanation so I can try it.
