My favorite Italian restaurant makes a killer sausage and peppers. I bought some hot Italian sausage from the farmers market today and am looking for a good, authentic recipe. Everything I have found says to use tomato paste and other things that seem unnecessary. I’m looking for a more authentic recipe that includes Marsala or something similar to achieve this type of dish. Any recommendations would be so appreciated! TIA!
