I thought I was being smart and did something dumb.
It felt like a million degrees when I pulled into the parking lot of the new Buddha Burger trailer on Metric. So instead of getting out of my car to order at the truck I thought I’d save both me and the cashier some sweat and make an online order for pickup. I ordered The Monk burger and Cajun fries. After making payment and looking at the receipt I realized I had ordered and paid the Buddha Burger in Pflugerville. 🤦♂️ And at almost 4pm driving to Pflugerville was the last thing I wanted to do.
I’m glad I read the receipt and noticed so I could call them right away. They answered at the Pflugerville location and said no problem my order would be ready on Metric in a few minutes.
I got out of the car so the someone would know a customer was there and the guy called me by name and said it would be just a few minutes, would I like to try their iced tea while I wait?
It was so hot he could have offered me iced ice and I would have taken it. 🥵
Man, that tea was delicious. I didn’t order it cause I didn’t think it would be anything special but their tea has a coconut flavoring that’s really good. Would order next time. ✅
The Monk burger was good, it’s a black bean burger similar to the veggie burger at P. Terry’s, a little pricier but good quality. And the Cajun fries have really good seasoning, I’ll always take them over plain. Glad to have a good new spot in the neighborhood and thankful their customer service is on point. 👍
