Hey guys,
after 1 year owning a KJJ and multiple times use (even in the winter), i made pizza for the first time.
It took me like 1.5h to get the heat to 650-700F (350-375C), which should not be too fast in my opinion.
But since this day i have a little crack on the bottom of my KJJ. 🙁
This is no problem for low temp cooking, but this weekend i made pizza again and in higher temps like 500-600F (250-320C) the crack is „working“. It is opening a bit and my concern is that every time it gets worse.
What can i do to prevend cracking the bottom, and why did it crack even I heat it up slowly?
Are there any ways to fix this?
Maybe i can support the structure with using a high temp sealant.
What do you think about it ? What do you recommend?
I am really sad about this crack because I did always watch out to increase the heat slowly.
(Sorry for bad english i am from germany)

Warranty time.
Warranty. I had a similar crack on a different brand several years ago. The crack also went half way down the bottom of the base. You don’t want that to become terminal while filled with lit charcoal.
