Spicy Garlic Mayo

1 cup mayonnaise
3/4 Tbsp cumin
1 tsp chili powder
1 Tbsp minced garlic
salt & pepper to taste
1 tsp hot and spicy garlic sauce (if desired)

Stir together. Cover and let sit in the refrigerator for 1 hour. Spread on sandwich, hamburger, or use as a dipping sauce for chicken fingers or chicken wings.

Slice tomatoes 1/4 to 1/2 inch thick. Lay on a baking sheet. Salt and pepper to taste. Have your dredging station set up, flour, egg, then cornmeal in separate dishes. Dredge tomato in flour, then the beaten egg, then cornmeal. Lay on a baking sheet. When all slices are coated, heat oil in a frying pan. Fry tomatoes until golden brown on both sides. Drain on a wire rack over a baking sheet or on paper towels.

Spread both slices of bread with mayo. Layer bacon, tomato, then lettuce between bread slices. Enjoy!

  12. That looks so good. Just last week I was in St Simons Island at Gnats Landing and they had this on their menuโ€ฆand let me tell you it was one of the best club sandwiches I have ever had. The tomatoes were cut just like Stephanie had herโ€™s and they were perfect. I think Brandonโ€™s spread may be a better choice, I will give that a try.

  13. Love it! I just saw your pimento cheese recipe in my feed and was reminded of my favorite BLT at a place called Hot Suppa in Maine: fried green tomatoes, pimento cheese, pecan smoked bacon, pickled red onion. Great use for any leftover pimento cheese ๐Ÿ˜‰
