Hey all, I've recently been on the search for Vietnamese restaurants that dont focus on mainly serving Pho/Noodle in Soup or Bun/Rice + Meat as my girlfriend is missing local dishes that are normally home cooked.
The closest we have found for something like this is Jasmine Garden Restaurant Pho Vuon Lai but the options are limited or ordering from FB groups (mixed bag for quality). Was wondering if anyone knew other restaurants that do something similar.

Pho Ngoc Yen, Etobicoke location they serve a lot of dishes family style.
Try Pho Brothers at Dundas and Dixie. I have seen huge table layouts for 6-10 ppl and it looks soo good.
Do you know what kind of dishes she’s looking for? I have a small library of favourite places depending on which dish lol
I haven’t been yet but I’ve bookmarked Cái Gạc-Măng-Rê in Woodbridge. It’s a bit far west but it might be up her alley. They have a rotating daily menu literally called cơm nhà “Home Meal”.
