Man, the tri tip is such a great cut, and easy to nail. If only these things weren't getting so expensive, I'd have them every week.

What is the price increase you are seeing out of curiosity OP?
I live in the upper Midwest, and the local middle-of-the-road grocery store chain has been selling tri tip for around $9/lb to $10/lb for the last few years (choice grade, decent marbling). The first time I saw it locally was around a decade ago at the same grocery store chain, and I think it was like $7/lb or $8/lb back then. So not a huge increase in price thankfully.
