Been eating at Cheesecake Factory for the past year or so and noticed that they only ever give two rolls of pumpernickel and one of sourdough. As you can see the sourdough has already been demolished. Why would they give you two of the less tasty version? Also noticed they sell their pumpernickel in some grocery stores but not their sourdough. Am I crazy or is the sourdough way better. What’s the reason they skimp on the sourdough?! Is it more expensive, are they working for big pumpernickel, what’s going on??

Less tasty? That’s just your opinion, the pumpernickel is fucking amazing. We usually finish that first. 😊
They know the brown bread is everyone’s favorite so they give you more and sell it at stores.
I always ask for just the brown bread.
In what world does this have anything to do with cooking tips?
Also, if that white bread is sourdough, it’s a very plain tasting sourdough.
This is not a food hack. The REAL hack is to just speak up about what you want.
“Could we get only sourdough bread? We don’t really like the pumpernickel.”
*BOOM!*
Suddenly all sourdough. Loaf after loaf of sourdough. It will be coming out of your ears, there’s so much sourdough! Okay, probably only 3 at a time, but still.
Brown bread > sourdough.
You are, in fact, wrong.
I’m team pumpernickel all day everyday. Keep your sour bread.
I’m sorry, what is this supposed to be?
Also I love how the person in the photo has their arms crossed like they’re displeased lol.
It’s NOT pumpernickel. It’s Brown Bread. WAY different
This is called an Oreo. We normally serve like this due to the brown bread being very popular. Manager at the Cheesecake Factory over 7 years now. Ask away I’m an open book.
