Not sure what type of pepper it is but Iwas told they are hot. Any information would be appreciated thanks.

Fresnos or Jalepeno depending on how hot they are

They are 5 inches long and about 1 1/2 inches wide

Those are the largest jalapeños I have ever seen

Does anyone know what varieties of jalepenos get this big?

Bonnie plants sells a “mammoth” they list as 4″ vs 3″ for the regular ones. I’ve had the mammoth last year and this year the regular. Most of mine have been on the bigger side, but closer to 4 than 5. I cant really tell the difference between this year’s and last year’s.

Those look like the Big Guy or Jalapeño Gigante. Beautiful.

Definitely jalapeños. I had some jalapeños that grew extremely girthy this year.

Jalapeños (and rather large ones), one fully ripe and one just starting to ripen

Probably an F1 hybrid large Jalapeno. Maybe

    Mucho Nacho

    Massive Jalapeno

    Jalapeno Gigante

    Mammoth Jalapeno

They look just like the Serrano variety I planted this year called Lone Ranger.
