So I got in on the wal mart deal (thanks to y’all Redditors who suggested slickdeals). Have a Joe junior and couldn’t resist the low price of a classic 1. Anyhoo, just did smash burgers on the JJ tonight (on the soapstone) and wondered if people buy 2 half moon soapstones for their classic or just one half moon. Also what do people use for a pizza stone for their KJ classics? Pics from tonight’s smash burgers.

I have a soapstone for my Jr plus a half moon soapstone for my Konnected Joe (Classic size). Works fine. I was thinking exactly this same thing: using the junior soapstone on the classic. Rather using the half moon. I imagine it would be easier to put burgers or steaks in centre position of the junior soapstone.
Size-wise (area): is the junior soapstone bigger than a half moon classic soapstone?
