I made this cookie for Valentine's this year. I have been doing cookies for just over two years now, and I was scared of piping florals for a long time. I did very basic stuff until January of this year where I hunkered down and actually forced myself to learn specific piped florals instead of winging it lol. Glad I did, I'm obsessed with them now. I learned roses first and then peonies. I YouTubed buttercream florals, since there are more hits for that than royal Icing and the technique is the same. I want to really try this winter to learn more florals and try for hyper-realistic looking ones! I'll probably have to learn buttercream for that, it seems like it works better for some applications.

If you're scared about florals, don't be! It's all about practice. Your first few will be crappy and that's ok, keep going you will get it. (and by few I mean like a whole little mountain of messed up flowers, if you're like me lol) You can do it!
