    Looks like blossom end rot maybe?

    If it’s BER it’s usually from inconsistent watering. For example being really wet of multiple days and then being really dry for multiple days. The inconsistent watering effects nutrient intake.

    It’ll either be sunscald or BER like others said. If that’s happening to peppers underneath the canopy and in smiths shade, than it’s BER and is caused by a calcium deficiency but usually related to inconsistent watering rather than lack of calcium in the soil. If it’s sunscald you can put up a shade cloth
