Mercato di Monte Mario is a farmers market away from Rome’s historic center. Unlike Campo de’ Fiori it is not a touristy market—this is where Romans shop for their farm products.
The produce you’ll find here is fantastic and we used it to prepare Roman September classic, pizza prosciutto e fichi (prosciutto and figs).
