Come into ALDI with me see what I bought for a week of groceries for my family of 5. I always use items from my pantry/freezer as well. I share my dinner meal plan at the end.
Also, I do NOT buy my groceries exclusively at ALDI, but they’re the first place I try and my favorite to shop at.

Recipes:
Chick Pea Noodle Soup: from a recipe book, don’t have a link. This is similar, but Mila’s recipe also has turmeric. https://pin.it/67toWyIFo
Chicken Noodle Soup: (I don’t use a recipe, but this is really similar) https://pin.it/2H1IWNnGT
Crusty Bread: https://pin.it/5kJT0Uya4
Breakfast Potatoes: https://pin.it/6tXYGQRFe
Fried Rice: 1:1 ratio of cooked jasmine rice and cauliflower rice. I don’t really follow a recipe, but I add the rices to avocado oil on the blackstone and toss with the mixed veggies. Season to smell/taste with soy sauce, pepper, butter, jar minced garlic and salt if needed (unlikely due to soy sauce). At the very end I like to drizzle with sesame oil. SO YUMMY
Steak on Blackstone: I chop and cook the steak in avocado oil until no longer pink. Then at the end add the Japanese BBQ sauce for a few minutes (we especially like the spicy bbq)
Breakfast Sandwiches: toast english muffins, stack with fried egg, slice of cheese and cooked bacon
Instant Pot Ziti: (we use about half the cheese) https://pin.it/xf1sdIUnG
Panini: Basically a filled grilled cheese! I LOAD mine with many toppings, basil, honey mustard, spinach, deli meat, cheese slices, artichoke, etc. Toast on two pieces of buttered panini bread (or any bread!)
Corn on the Cobb: remove husk and silk, chop in half and add to boiling pot. Boil until BRIGHT yellow! Remove from water, slather in butter, salt & pepper. 🤤 I like to grill it, too… but my kids prefer boiled.

  1. Do you not have a dollar tree near you? Some of the stuff you buy are cheaper at dollar tree. Not everyone does.

  2. I'm still a fan of Aldi, but I think Lidl has better selections. Don't get me wrong, they're both great stores for budget minded consumers.

  3. We see you have the same SREAMING BRAT at your Aldi's as we have here! Don't be shy to scream "SHUSH!". You may be surprised to hear ECHO's! Also, everything you just bought at ALADI's is MAN-MADE CHEMICALS! Made in 'CHI-NA'!

  4. I sometimes use hamburg buns for breakfast sandwiches, the small generic type ones. I toast them.

  5. Hi Jackie 😊i saw the ketchup chips but didn't get them 😒i did get the cheddar buns and a box of the smash burgers so good together😋😊
