Where can I find a spread like this? Preferably SFV/Calabasas area on Sunday?

  1. For west SFV, Rosie’s BBQ in Northridge comes to mind. Or Gus’s BBQ in Porter Ranch.

There are barbecue spots around, but Moo’s Craft is the best by a long shot. Otherwise you gotta go down to San Juan for Heritage.

How much does a plate like that cost in LA?

A bit east is Uncle Andre’s and it’s great.

Rib Ranch off Topanga canyon. Been going there for 20 plus years with the fam. Family owned and the best baby back ribs in LA in my opinion

Good luck finding proper BBQ like that in the Valley. Not gonna happen. Moo’s, Bludso’s, or APL pop-up are your best bet

Try a spot in the Westfield…i forgot what the name of the restaurant is but it’s next to Amboy Burgers at Topanga Social food court

  8. Look up ZEF BBQ on Instagram. He’s in Simi and makes great bbq, and a bunch of other fusion items. He usually does bbq on Saturdays and random specials on Sundays.

By the way, there’s a Bludso pickup location in SFV now. Been thinking about it.

  10. Zef BBQ but it’s pre order for a Saturday pick up in Simi Valley.

Pre orders available thru Tock on Tuesday evening.

You might want to check out Slab at Topanga Social

Handy Market in Burbank at least fulfills the SFV portion of the question, though not out near Calabasas. Saturday’s only they BBQ outside and it is delicious.
