I’m not talking about the trendy Basque cheesecake that’s everywhere – I’m talking about the traditional style of gateau Basque (Basque cake) from the French side of the Basque country. I grew up with it and crave it so often, but I haven’t found anywhere to get it around Los Angeles. Someone must know something!
