I was a bit disappointed in this one. I love a good soup but the flavor was severely lacking in this one, especially when the season is called ‘Tuscan Heat Spice’. No heat and no spice.

Also, I’m new to cannellini beans and there were too many bean carcasses in my soup. You know, where the bean sheds its casing. I’ve never had that happen so much with other beans so idk if it’s just these or I did something to them while it was cooking. Anyone help with this one?

I’ve also never cooked with a shallot so that was cool. I looked up what the difference was and shallots are “milder” than an onion. With the lacking flavor, maybe an onion would have been better? I was also thinking that maybe spinach would have been better than kale?

I’m hoping that this might taste a bit better as I’ll be taking it to work for lunch but unless I wanted to make a bunch of changes, I’d just skip this in the future.

Bland? It looks so delicious. I was thinking about getting that one. I guess in a pinch you could load it up with garlic or garlic powder and cayenne pepper. Bet that would do it
