The Ninja Creami has been a staple in my life for a year. I eat usually a minimum 2 pints of ice cream a day with various flavors/proteins. Takes longer to eat/enjoy and is basically just the ice cream form of a protein shake.
My default for a breakfast snack on my way to work is a whole pint of coffee flavored ice cream for about 150 calories.
HIGHLY recommend everyone get a Creami. I have a ton of recipes I use I'll be posting for great high volume/low cal spins to try.
Ingredients:
12oz – International Iced Coffee Less Sugar (90 calories)
3-4oz Skim Milk (40 calories) – can be subbed for almondmilk to shave off 20-25 calories
3-5g sugar substitute of your choice (I use Splenda's Stevia)
5g – Hershey's Cocoa Powder (for the Mocha coffee) or 2-3g of cinnamon for the Caramel flavor if desired
(optional) 5g – Sugar Free chocolate pudding mix (for mocha flavor) or 5g vanilla/cheesecake (for Caramel flavor) – changes the overall texture of the ice cream a bit, depending on your preference
(optional) Mix-Ins – Hershey's Zero Sugar syrup, zero calorie Caramel Syrup, Lily's chocolate chips, etc.
Directions
Add coffee, milk of choice, sugar substitute, and optional pudding mix to a Creami pint container and mix.
Freeze overnight, minimum 12 hours for best results.
Run container under warm water for 15-20 seconds to dislodge outside edge of ice
Run on "Lite Ice Cream" setting in Ninja Creami
Remove the lid, use a butter knife to scrape any ice around inner edge, add a splash of milk and any mix-ins you'd like (sugar substitute, seasonings, chocolate chips, or 1 serving of Hershey's zero sugar syrup (For best mocha flavor), run on "Mix-In" setting once.
I then place the pint back in the freezer for 30-45 minutes to re-solidify usually, helps the ice cream last longer.
Enjoy!
