In the last few days, I’ve noticed tiny black specks on my leaves and some on my tomatoes. They easily wipe off. Should I treat these spots? And will they harm the tomatoes?

Look kind of like aphids or a bug eating the plant and leaving deposits along the way. Maybe spray it down with some dish soapy water?

Looks like flea beetles to me. I had an insane infestation of them on my arugula not long ago. I put out a sticky trap and it was full in minutes. I learned what they were when I posted in r/vegetablegardening. I sprayed them with an insecticide (Ambush) because the recommendations for soap and/or neem oil didn’t work. Apparently they only damage brassica plants and Virginia Creeper so if you aren’t seeing damage I personally wouldn’t want to introduce insecticides into your garden.
