Adana Kebab Recipe

Ingredients:
– 500g ground lamb (with some fat)
– 250g ground beef
– 1 medium onion, finely grated
– 2 garlic cloves, minced
– 1 tablespoon red pepper flakes (adjust for heat level)
– 1 teaspoon cumin
– 1 teaspoon paprika
– 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
– 1/2 teaspoon salt
– 1/4 cup fresh parsley, finely chopped
– Flatbread, for serving
– Grilled vegetables (optional: tomatoes, peppers, onions)

Instructions:

1. Prepare the Meat Mixture:
– In a large bowl, combine the ground lamb, ground beef, grated onion, garlic, red pepper flakes, cumin, paprika, black pepper, and salt.
– Mix well with your hands until the ingredients are fully incorporated.
– Add the chopped parsley and mix again.
– Cover the mixture and refrigerate for 30 minutes to allow the flavors to blend.

2. Shape the Kebabs:
– Preheat your grill or broiler to high heat.
– Divide the meat mixture into equal portions and shape each portion around a long skewer, pressing the meat firmly so it adheres well.
– Flatten the kebabs slightly for even cooking.

3. Grill the Kebabs:
