Sorry, i don’t post regularly so the question is in de comments. Does anybody know these stripes in my Daikon? I wanted to make some white radish kimchi.

Yup. Super old. Shouldn’t have those stripes in a cross section.
And the exterior should not have those cracks. looks like old ass feet. This is what they should look like, far left is Korean kind:
