Great and beets do not belong in the same sentence. 🤮

Love this place. Great neighborhood joint. The bartender they got a few months ago is fire the drinks are amazing.

  3. We used to go there all the time we even bought packs from them when they were doing them at the beginning of the pandemic. I stopped going The food just wasn’t as good. And they stop serving pancakes

Agree on the pastries truly! Especially the croissants. The pistachio casis croissant increased my credit score

This place is trash, y’all. Dishonest, pretentious owner and management. There are better places for pastries and vaguely French food in town.

I went today, seemed very expensive for what it is

May I ask, what is the smeared stuff in the side that looks like it has egg yolks and pine cones?

  8. watergoesdownhill

That egg dish looks bizarre. Was it any good?

This place is shit. It looks nice, but the food is below average.

This place has my favorite almond croissant and I have yet to find another place in Austin that beats it. Too bad I don’t live close.

To people saying this can’t be Paris level, their pastries are delicious. And it’s not like every bakery in Paris is amazing. I bet there’s some terrible patisseries in Paris. So I think OP’s statement is technically still true lol.

I’ve never seen such strident opposing opinions in this sub. I live around the corner and always wondered about going. This thread isn’t helping me make my mind up

  12. A little pricey for what it is but it’s a very convenient spot for the neighborhood.

Cutesy spot, they had/have a really good pastrami sandwich.

  14. These pastries are some of the best in town. Idk why everyone is hating. The brunch there is also delightful

Did that cost more than $10? If so, you were ripped off. Just sayin.

Also, I don’t think “toast” is “patisserie” level anything. Who are you people?
