Two weeks ago I was chopping some green onions like this, but while in a hurry and on a smaller back up cutting board. I sliced off the corner of my index nail and a bit of the finger underneath. The piece was the same size as the onion bits and had to fish it out. It took a full week before I could type with that finger again.
