I find it hard to say no when a friend asks me to go for food. I don’t want them to think I’m restricting myself.. so I said yes to the pizza. I’m estimating 900cals for this 10”..

Any suggestions for ordering low calorie in restaurants without calories listed?

  1. That’s more around 600-700. No cheese no oil etc is lower than you think. Look up Napoli marinara pizza calories to get a better idea, that’s sort of what this is (with added spinach and jalapeños)

Also, you can definitely go out to eat, lose weight, and not be miserable or look like the crazy person who orders no cheese extra spinach lol

Mind your portions, you don’t have to eat the whole pizza. If you know you’ll be really hungry but there’s only high calorie/low volume foods you can always pregame a smaller healthier meal and not eat as much of the other stuff while still enjoying it.

Looks delicious! Although I would have picked different veggie toppings, a pizza without cheese is right up my alley! I have a weird texture issue and cannot eat melted cheese when it is warm. But if I let it cool, then it is acceptable. Regardless, I am thankful for my strange issues because they often keep the calorie count down LOL

  3. I think this is great!

I’m not a big cheese person, so whenever I make pizza at home, I always leave the cheese off of mine. I’m all about the bread and a spicy sauce.

My suggestion is always just eat with discretion, eat slowly, and don’t overeat. If you follow those three you may go over calories but you won’t destroy your diet. As long as it’s not a daily thing, that’s ok!
