its definitely up there for me too so properly ranked. if you havent been, get the plate that has one of each taco.

  2. TwistedMemories

I have yet to visit them. Need to make plans to do that.

Who cares, yelp has terrible business practices. They literally threaten small businesses if they don’t get on Yelp. The documentary “Billion Dollar Bully” covers it.

Is a nice food truck. On a plot with other nice food trucks. If one were inclined to wash down their plate o tacos with a cheeseburger or some bbq.

  5. Just had some and have to say they’re pretty authentic. I really like the price point. You can have a decent meal for a little over 6 dollars

  6. You think I really care about Yelp? I don’t give a fuck about Yelp

Is this like how Taylor Swift fans voted her the #6 guitarist of the last 20 years? Seems like this is skewed toward major cities (HOU, ATX, FW, whatever the fuck dallas abbreviates to) and not towns in RGV/west Texas

Cuantos is delicious. Normally I dislike Yelp but in this case I think they got it right.

One more thing: if you like tacos GO TO NORTH LAMAR! There is so much, Carnitas el Guero, multiple Arturo’s trucks with the trompo set up outside, a Cuban food truck, Taquito Aviles and lots more. If you love tacos 🌮 you need to go even it’s not widely talked about on Reddit and the usual “foodie” sources

They’re good but they’re not even the best tacos in Austin let alone Texas

Fwiw I went in June and was sick for two days doing unholy things to my toilet. I haven’t had a street taco since. Even when I was somewhat enjoying it at the time I thought it paled in comparison to Discada.

  11. I ordered 5-tacos at Cuantos, and all 5 were different styles. Different cuts of meat, if you call tripas (intestines) meat. All 5 were fantastic. Their red salsa was something new. On my way out, I asked what do you call the red salsa. They said, red salsa. Bottle it, they should.

Nahhh Cuantos is good but Un Mundo de Sabor is the best ✌🏼❤️

I hit them at least twice every time I’m in town. Great burgers too!

San Diego people, how do these compare to Tacos El Gordo or Las Cuatro Milpas?

  15. justhinemine22

Ugh I normally love cuantos but it can be hit or miss for me. Last time I went the meat was so salty it was borderline inedible. Which is a shame because I loved that place. Must’ve gone on an off day.

Also everyone talking about over spots in SA, and Houston and stuff. How about EL PASO!??? Now that’s where you will get the best tacos and Mexican food in the US.

It’s a tie for me between Cuantos and paprika for best in Austin but holy hell those tacos are good

Cuantos. Un Mundor. Contodo. Paprika. La Santa. Veracruz. Palo Seco. — tbh; Contodo, La Santa, and Veracruz are the only ones I know who make their own tortillas 👀 so bonus points in my personal record book

  19. AdventurousTime

I’ll give them Austin but the best tacos are in San Antonio

  20. Acceptable-Article-8

In Texas? they’re okay. Tacos in the RGV are better.

  21. GainFluid2511

I’ve said this like 10 times but sopa de fideo food truck are my favorite tacos in the city

  22. zenophobicgoat

It doesn’t get the hype, but Cuantos Hamburguesas in the same yard has the most decadent burger I’ve probably ever had (Campechana) if you want a grease/salt/flavor injection
