Remembering the time a customer gave the restaurant I managed a 1 star review because they wanted to knock our rating down online

I hope this person, and people like this, never find their food seasoned enough. Never quite warm enough. And may their showers either run a bit chilly or scalding hot.

    May they never know peace.

Cool find them on Linked In or facebook and then give the same review to them about their job

    Solipsism. It’s an epidemic.

You can probably report this review and get it removed for retaliation or similar.

  5. Do not condone but definitely get the logic tbh (have you ever looked at a place you worked for/know well and been like, 4.8?? how)

  6. I feel like this is how Michelin stars work. The normal people can love it and eat there all the time, but if it is not consistently right, then no star for you.

Shoutout to the guy who gave up one less star but explained while he was doing, he never gives anything a perfect score because nothing perfect can exist. But our service was great, everything was fantastic, we exceeded expectations and he wouldn’t change a thing, except his rating.

Edit: he explained this to my boss who was trying not to show on his face how goddamned mad he was. Tripp, you were a pretty great boss, if you had lost it on him, I would’ve backed you up.

Google will usually take reviews like this down if asked.
