Recipe:

1 lb. orzo
2 medium onions, chopped
3 cloves garlic, minced
2 Tbsp. olive oil
4 Tbsp. butter
2 Tbsp. tomato paste
4 to 6 c. water
2 chicken bouillon cubes
½ tsp. salt
⅛ tsp. pepper
Dash of cinnamon (optional)
Parmesan cheese
1 (8 oz.) can tomato sauce

Saute onions and garlic in oil and butter. Add tomato paste and cook with onions a few minutes. Add 4 cups water; bring to boil. Add tomato sauce and bouillon cubes. Add orzo and dash of cinnamon (optional). Cook over low heat, stirring con-stantly, for 20 minutes. Cover and set aside for 30 minutes or more. Add more hot water, if needed, before serving. Sprinkle with Parmesan cheese. Serves 6 to 8.
