Any thoughts on this product? Or products like it? I usually use my leaf blower in lowest setting to get the coals hot. But I find the leaf blower to be quite big and a bit of a hassle to keep next to me. This product seems to be exactly what I want, that I can use for about a minute to get them coals hot. Lmk

Buy a heat gun for something cheap, you don’t need a specialist charcoal heat gun or flame thrower. The product you’ve attached just blows air by the looks of it.
I have compressed air run from my shop to my bbq area. Then a long reach air nozzle and a coil house. I need to put a regulator on it to drop it to the 10-20 psi range.
Have the same thing on my off-road vehicle the has OBA and a tank. (On board air). Makes camping in a rainy climate and keeping a fire going much better.
It’s a great idea. After using the propane torch to get it started use the ”mini jet turbo” to stoke the charcoal. I usually use a Frisbee.
Ryobi makes one. Works on their 18v system. Use it for pool floats, dust removal and charcoal. Comes with various tips. I think it was $40 when I bought it in the spring

I just use a knockoff Makita blower from Ebay
That thing will run out of juice well before it’s making a difference. It also needs actual coals.

i have a few of them for a different purpose and they are great. I bought one of amazon which is awesome and another of aliexpress for less money that looks exactly the same, and same build quality but takes a bit longer to spool to full speed & has a bit less output (still good for the money though). Look at the X3 model.

Everyone is always in a rush. All you’re doing is wasting charcoal and getting ash everywhere. lol. Use a torch or starters. Open the vent all the way. It will burn. Enjoy the process, don’t force it.

Doesn’t everyone have a retired hair dryer or two?
