OK, so my fam is Italian descent and I have been slowly adapting my recipes making volume changes where I can. This recipe is absolutely amazing and I could eat it every day.
For 3 huge portions, each under 700 cals. For a LOT of food.
6 sheets dried Lasagne.
2 large aubergine sliced into sheets.
Meat sauce.
6 large portobello mushrooms, chopped.
2 tins chopped tomatoes.
500g turkey mince.
2 blocks taj garlic.
Tablespoon smoked paprika.
Tspn dry Oregano.
Tbsn bouillon powder.
SnP to taste.
Cheese Sauce.
100g red lentils cooked to tender.
1 cup Skimmed milk.
100g low fat feta.
Tspn nutritional yeast.
SnP to taste.
25g Parmesan.
Make your meat sauce, layer once with pasta , then twice or however many times it takes to fill your pot. Drain your Lentils and blend with an immersion blender with the milk, feta, and yeast. Taste before seasoning further. Use as the cheese sauce and top with grated Parmesan.
