I am new to pellet smokers and looking to buy my first one used on marketplace.
There is a Pit Boss Pro series 850 that looks in decent shape for $250 in my area and says it’s always been garage kept with a cover.
Just need a consensus to ease my mind if I should buy this or not for a starter/entry level smoker? I have seen mixed reviews all over the place for PB and I dont want to regret the purchase.

I’ve been running an 850 Pro Series 2 for a few years now and have had no issues.
I’ve had mine for over 2 years and and VERY happy with it !
I do use a “smoke tube” to supplement the first few hours of long cooks (my family likes extra Smokey taste)
Even have cold smoked some cheese, complete version tenderloins (seared to finish)
If everything works, I don’t think you can go wrong !
