Growing up in a American Korean household, we always had rice and kimchi with every meal.
This was a fast meal to plate thanks to store bought chicken, microwave frozen rice made a week ago, and tofu banchan.

Ah yes…. I remember rice and kimchi for every meal but that barbecue chicken does not look Korean. Most Korean moms will add gochujang glaze to that chicken to make it tastier.
