I’m a rookie so don’t judge 😭 I’ve nailed the cookie recipe and the taste of the icing but I feel like it could be smoother, and I’m still getting bubbles.

    Things that I’ve found help me:
    – put more icing on the cookie / don’t leave gaps that I have to use my scribe to fill in (this makes the biggest difference for me)
    – thinner icing (usually about 10-15 seconds if you know what that means)
    – let icing sit in the bowl for maybe a minute before bagging & pop bubbles that rise
    – helicoptering icing bag (spin it around- and be careful that you have a good grip) to get air bubbles out & get the icing to the tip of the bag
    – if it’s an older/opened bag of powdered sugar sometimes I need to sift it before mixing
