I've always found it interesting that foods being sold in grocery stores as "healthy" alternatives often have very questionable ingredients listed in their labels.
I don't know about you, but if I'm spending my money on something that's more expensive because it's supposedly healthier, I want to make sure it's made with clean ingredients. And yes, that goes for my "junk food" too. So I just started making my own, I know exactly what goes in it and I can keep it clean and wholesome.
75g Lupin flour
12g Oat Fiber
12g Almond Flour
57g Unsalted Butter
224g Sharp Cheddar
1/8 tsp Garlic Powder
1/8 tsp Mustard Powder
1/4 tsp Salt
Preheat oven to 350F.
Dump everything into food processor and pulse until it starts forming little lumps. Place mixture on a clean flat surface and knead into a dough. Roll out on top of a parchment paper that fits in your baking tray, and cut out into squares. Bake for 18-20 min. Let them cool completely before breaking them apart.
