  1. So you guys are telling me there’s an actual (food) product called “It’s SKINNY” … being sold?! Heavens 😦

The catch is they are nasty. But they can also cause either diarrhea or constipation. Depends on how your body deals with fiber.

The catch is explosive diarrhea that lasts for days

I just saw another post on this sub with someone saying not to get it bc they’re stuck on the toilet now.

No catch. A little different texture than some of the grains you are used to and may annoy your digestive tract (but probably won’t/ will be bearable).

You are basically just eating a chemical your stomach did not evolve to break down so it goes right through you. Sometimes literally. Sometimes your gut microbiome likes it and then you get gassy but have trillions of happy bacteria in you. most of the time, nothing.

Just eat regular pasta in moderation. All of the diet pastas are terrible. The only diet carb that is passable is the tortillas but you gotta be careful with those because they’ll explode your ass with all the fiber.

Honestly it’s not the worst but it is jarring at first. Tbh I had it with the spaghetti and as long as you rinse it, and I sauteed it with margerine, garlic, onions, Parmesan and chili crisp and put spaghetti sauce ontop and it wasn’t bad, the texture was weird the first few bites thi

Every time I see Publix, I miss their subs all over again.

I don’t understand all the hate these noodles get. They’re obviously not as good as your nonna’s handmade pasta, but we’re dieting. Just like a slice our sourdough tastes infinitely better than a slice of 647 40-calorie sandwich bread.

These noodles allow me to enjoy more of my favorite comfort foods like chicken parm and lo mein without breaking my calorie budget.

you will poop them out completely undigested. i speak from experience

I would recommend getting the angel hair style if available – thicker = more rubbery. They didn’t upset my stomach but everyone is different

If you like artichokes or hearts of palm, Palmini is decent. It’s 20 calories per serving, low carb, but the artichoke like flavor can kind of shine through in some dishes – I thought it tasted bad with Alfredo sauce, but tastes great with spaghetti sauce. I didn’t notice any gastrointestinal issues any of the times I’ve eaten it lol I found it at Walmart. It’s not a perfect replacement for regular pasta, but I think it’s a pretty tasty low calorie alternative 🙂

These are really helpful for me and my girlfriend. Best to mix half and half though. Either with regular noodles or something like the fiber gourmet brand in my experience. Half and half they hide really well while bulking up a pasta dish 👍

Are these the seaweed noodles? I had them and I’ve never felt so much like my guts were going to burst in my life. So painful, no digesting, never again.
