90 cals for the entire 400g pack of chow mein?! This has to be a typo, right?

This must be wrong. 100 grams of uncooked noodles is already 350 kcal. And it is not like they use any low calorie ingedients like pure fibers to lower the calories.

125g of enriched wheat flour is 455 calories…
That is all wheat flour.. sooo that pack is probably 1400 cals

It’s wrong. There’s been many instances where I will buy food from the Asian supermarket and the translated calorie labels are plain wrong. Def frustrating 😕

Don’t trust the nutrition labels on food products from Asia. Sometimes, they have really shitty translations and the nutrition facts are way off.

As someone who lives in SEA, it’s frustrating to see how wrong a lot of entries can be. You get 90kcal for 400g of noodles but 350kcal for 100g of mixed vegetables (corn, carrots, and peas). As someone else has suggested, better to look at the ingredients and base your estimate using the main ingredient.

eat it everyday for 5 weeks and tell us if you get fat

The macros add up, they match the calories, but looking at the ingredients there’s no way the carbs are correct. Flour alone has 360-380 calories and that’s the main ingredient here
