I was making character macarons today, but I accidentally left the template in the oven underneath the parchment paper while baking.
Nothing burned but now I’m concerned about chemicals leeching into the macaron shells. Should they still be safe to eat? They’re not being sold or anything.

It’s not an issue. The reason to not have paper in the oven is for fire risk, so glad nothing happened but you’re fine. You have a layer between the paper and the food, everything is fine.
