Japanese Pizza Toast

I came across this while reading a Japanese murder mystery.

Pizza toast is standard fare in Japanese tea houses.

While I’m sure many of us have done similar things at home out of necessity or laziness, the idea of going to a restaurant and paying for this strikes me as criminal.
