They’re perfectly fine. They could be a little underripe, but there are varieties that have some chlorophyll in the entirely ripe fruit, so it’s hard to say for sure what is going on here. Regardless, they are safe to eat.

If you see deep green gel inside that is generally a very strong indicator of flavor! May I ask if these were store bought or homegrown?
