    Looks tasty to me!

Brace yourself for the chorus of “That’s a melt”

I do that all the time with a fried egg white. Try it with some salami that you fry crispy, so good

You’re an addition of bacon away from a New York staple. 10/10 would still demolish though, lovely toasting of the bread.

I do that all the time when I get high and make breakfast for dinner.

Alright I was not aware that this no longer classifies as just a grilled cheese, set your pitchforks down and forgive an ignorant soul

I can understand calling something a grilled cheese if the other ingredient/s are just there to bring out the flavor of the cheese (ex: pepper jack, some pepper or garlic salt, etc) but that is just a full on egg sandwich, the cheese is no longer the focus of the dish

When r/grilledcheese and r/putaneggonit cross over, everybody wins.

Cook a grilled cheese, and then put THAT inside of the omelette! For science

That’s a fried egg and cheese sandwich. Delicious? Yes. Grilled cheese? No!

this is innovative enough I’ll let it slide

looks great and interesting. I’ll have to try!

What was the actual process? make a 2 egg omlette with cheese in the middle, add more cheese on the outsides of it and stick it between two slices of bread then grilled cheese it?
