

This was soooo good and flavorful!!
I cooked mine a little different, I don’t like raw veggies so I diced up the tomato and jalapeño and cooked them in the pan with the chicken to give it more flavor and an extra kick. I really really liked the seasoning on this one. I think it was just chili powder and paprika? I gave it a squeeze of the lime when it was done but still in the pan. Perfect!
I loved adding the seasoning in the rice too. I added it in the rice cooker along with a few jalapeño pieces. I also threw in the rest of the seasoning when I was done coating the chicken. Figured more couldn’t hurt.
I wouldn’t say that the spice on its own is “hot”. You could get away with not adding the jalapeño if you don’t like that kind of spice to your food and not lose any of the flavor.
I will definitely add this one again every time it pops up. I’m having the other half for lunch tomorrow so we’ll see if the flavor profile increases when it’s reheated.

I just had this very dish myself this evening, and it was fantastic. I will absolutely get this one again.
I was supposed to get this one with my delivery today but my whole delivery got canceled cuz I’m in Tampa with Milton headed at us

Next time dice the chicken after cooking and put in a bowl with the rice. Add lots of the cream sauce and enjoy!

You don’t like raw veggies? So no tacos? Those are really some of my favorite meals. The “slaws” and pickled veggies I find to work really well in their tacos… some better than others. My favorite was pickled radishes with jalapenos. It all has such a fresh taste.
I will definitely deseed the jalapenos a bit. Last meal I had jalapenos I thought I’d be fine without deseeding them but geez they were too much lol. I’ve been fine with the chili flakes and chili peppers though and any other heat ingredients. Cooking them with the chicken could make a difference though as it likely spreads the seeds around so you’re not eating a jalapeno round with all the seeds.
I actually got a salad (from the free items for life) to add to this meal, cause it’s a bit on the low side for calories for me, but realized yesterday that I can add some rice to it and I have extra sour cream and other stuff that I can add to spread the flavor out to all of the rice. Normally when I add rice to a meal like this it just ends up being too unflavored.
