This is our pre travel day and travel day vlog, we start at home where we are finishing off the packing ready to travel to the airport, we are using our new Level 8 luggage which we have been sent. I have to re pack as I’ve gone a little over with all the clothes I’m taking away! We head to Manchester Airport and park at the Terminal 2 Meet and Greet parking, we then check in to the hotel for the night which is the new Holiday Inn at Manchester Airport which was recently opened. I surprised Max by upgrading our room to a 1 bedroom suite, this room is stunning with a huge verandah outside with comfy outdoor seating and a great view overlooking the airport for plane spotting, it has a lounge area with dining table as well as a huge bedroom area and 2 showers! As you can see in the video the little touches that all the staff have put in to making this room a truly magical stay was above and beyond and we are so grateful to them, thank you @HolidayInn @ihgplc
We booked a table at the restaurant located in the hotel which was a Turkish restaurant called Firin, the food here was delicious.
We head back to the room, show you the features of our Level8 luggage we have been sent, these are a 30′ Voyager checkin case and a 20′ Voyager carry on case.
We end our pre travel day with a cup of tea sat on the hotel room balcony watching the planes in the evening, we give you a run down of what we have planned for our epic adventure during this trip, including a stay at Disneys Caribbean Beach resort hotel, a stay at Disney’s fort wilderness resort in the new cabins, Disneys Vero Beach resort, a 5 night cruise on the Disney Magic to Cozumel and Castaway Cay plus a 4 night stay at Disneys Coronado Springs resort.
The next morning has arrived and it’s travel day! Im awake first so head down to the hotel lobby where they have a Starbucks, I grab us both a coffee and head back to the room where Max is now awake! As Max is getting ready I sit on the balcony and enjoy the view of the airport.
It’s now check in time so we head over to the airport terminal 2 which is the terminal Virgin Atlantic depart from. After checking in with Virgin we head to duty free as Max needs some new headphones, as we are travelling with Virgin Atlantic in their Upper Class cabin we have access to the 1903 lounge. This lounge is great as a pre departure chill out area and to get some great food, they also serve all premium spirits, wines and champagnes.
Our boarding time is now called, we head down to the gate and board our plane ‘Fearless Lady’. Ours seats for the flight were 4D and 4G, we love the ‘new’ ish configuration of the improved upper class cabins @virginatlantic now have. They offer a lot more privacy, seat configurations, TV screens are bigger and just has a nicer feel to the seats. Our food was served shortly after take off, we had pre ordered our mains and both had the Chicken and Mushroom pie, as you can see from the video it was delicious! This was part of their new Autumn / Winter menu. We both had a little sleep before having more food! This time we headed to what Virgin call the ‘booth’, this booth is available on their ‘leisure’ configuration aircraft on the A350. Its a little area for 2 people to sit, there are TV screens and just a nice chill out area for a change of scenery, we had our afternoon tea served here, I had the chicken bao bun and Max had sandwiches with scones.
Before we know it, it’s time for our arrival in to Orlando International! Once we land I get an email from Disney to confirm our room number and as you will see I’m so happy with our allocated room as we have been given a refurbished room in the Trinidad area at Disneys Caribbean Beach Resort, these are the rooms which used to be the Pirate Themed rooms.
After we have collected our luggage we head to the car rental area to select our car, we did online check in prior to arriving so all we needed to do was head to the area of category car we had booked and pick which one we wanted!
We drive to Disney and arrive at the resort, head straight to the room and as you will see we are so happy with the room location and how the refurbishment has turned out, there are subtle hints to the Little Mermaid and all the colour schemes fit perfectly. I love how Disney have started to incorporate the pull down Murphy beds in to the rooms, they create so much more space.
We check out the quick service options for food, buy our refillable mugs before heading back to the room for a room tour, this is where we sign off for the night!

We're excited to see how it goes with your Halloween on the High Seas cruise. We did the Halloween cruise in mid-September just before the previous Hurricane. We have also been in Florida during a hurricane where the parks were closed. Rest assured Disney is the safest place to be during a hurricane in Florida. The resorts do all sorts of additional things to ensure you continue enjoying your stay. So hoping you have a magical time regardless of obstacles that might get in your way. Looking forward to your upcoming vlogs!

That Holiday Inn hotel room is massive!! Hope you had a great time again at Disney World! I live 65 miles from there. Haven't been in two years maybe 2025 will be the year for a yearly pass for me.
I literally just Cancelled Radisson Blu hotel for my pre travel day and am about to book at Holiday Inn instead. It was going to be £178 for 1 night! Standard room!
