Noticed that they sell slices after 5pm, and after a long walk on town lake with my dog I was in the mood to try out a new spot. I was very pleased with what I ordered! I'd definitely recommend the square slices, it's definitely my favorite Sicilian style I've had here in town (so far). Pedroso's Sicilian is a close second for me, but they've got palm pizza beat when it comes to NY style IMO.

Prices are definitely on the higher end but the quality of the ingredients makes it worth it to me. Dough had great texture & taste, the mozz cheese was flavorful, and the sauce was pretty good too.

If you like ranch with your pizza, don't skip on the Serrano ranch. It's on the thicker side, had a little kick, and but the fresh dill in it brought a nice cool balance to it. It paired well with the pepperoni square slice I had.

This spot probably isn't the best if you're looking to dine in with A/C, as the only seating is outdoors.

Can you post the cost of the things you listed please?

I was there last night, too! I wonder if we saw each other.

The leaf and fingernail pizza in the first pic was my favorite.

Thanks for the tip on the Serrano ranch – that sounds amazing!! The pizza looks/sounds great too!

Weird to see the negativity. Palms is AWESOME and the super fresh ingredients make it worth the price for me. Solid by the slice or takeout option.

My order of pizza in Austin is

    1 La Volta

    2 All day

    3 Palm

curious if anyone who has similar taste to me has any other recs based on these 3

I tried this spot a few months ago when I was in the area. I thought it was pretty good but I didn’t appreciate them trying to sell a tiny cup of ranch for $2.

Also they asked me if I wanted to open a “tab” for more slices. No… Thanks… 💀

Lol this subreddit. Everyone’s ripping on you for pretty normal cell phone pictures in bad lighting. But all completely cool with eating pizza with ranch.

Palm is so good! $2 for 2 oz of ranch is wild, but will gladly pay.
Palm uses Central Milling flour and I think their crust stands out as some of the best in town.
I like how all pizzas have parm basil and evoo too.

  9. $5 for a pepperoni square? That’s not a good deal on a simple at home DIY. Especially when the overhead is marginal, as in no AC.

I want to try this spot. I’m curious to see what you think of smalls pizza

Your lighting and angles are terrible 😅🤣

  12. Palm Pizza is great. I have not tried the Sicilian yet. Definitely overpriced but still delicious. 🤤

I love this spot. I go here often. Sorry you’re getting railed lol.

  14. I drive by Palm all the time and have yet to try it. Thank you for sharing!

I’m sorry, that does not look very good, and I don’t mean you have poor photography skills.
Outer ring of crust on first slice is proportionally way too wide. Pepperoni seems sloppily chucked on second piece with no regard to even placement.

Wrt photos: Next time, take a side view of the slice so we can see what the crust looks like. Gives us a better idea of the thickness and how the dough rose (density/size of bubbles, etc).

You’re obviously under no obligation to do any of this, but to many of us, your post is the equivalent of “this pizza place exists and sells $2 cups of ranch”.

Spot on review. I hate ranch for pizza but this one was an exception. Pedro’s is is still my #1
