If it is a proper ddukbaegi and not just decorative, yes you are meant to cook it on the stove directly. I think I heard that it doesn’t work with induction stoves

I use my ddukbaegi directly on a radiant (electric) cooktop (just adjust the # of rings heated up) and it works fine, I just try not to move it much so it doesn’t scratch the stove. It’s relatively smooth underneath, though. It keeps heat super well once it’s heated up 😀 Mine’s a size 4.
