Apple Pan is super mid for the money

I have been here on 2 different occasions and have had the Hickoryburger, Tuna Melt, Fries. Banana Cream Pie, Cherry Pie, and Seasonal Pumpkin Pie. The Banana Cream is excellent, without a doubt the best item they have and worth going to for alone.

Everything else however missed the mark. The pies are alright but they are 60% cream and for $8/slice they are a little underwhelming. The Pumpkin pie had a weak pumpkin flavor and the cream over takes it, though I will say it tasted very fresh. The Cherry pie was alright but very cherry-syrupy and the cherries were pressed flat which kind of ruined the integrity. $5 Fries were those wet and limp kind, did not taste super fresh or hot but 'you eat them because they are there' kind of fries. Hickoryburger was soggy and I felt the apple in the bbq sauce, which is what this burger is known for, was clashing.

The Tuna Melt was probably one of my least favorite items and at $16 its kind of a rip.. I did not know there were nuts and dried cranberries in the tuna salad and I am just not a fan of that for a tuna melt. Also not a fan of it coming to $26 for a tuna melt and slice of pie.

Can anyone fill me in on how the Ham Sandwich is here? I'm sure I will be able to try this place again out of convenience and will probably just go with a regular steakburger and banana cream pie. From what Ive had so far and for the value, this place is a solid 3.5/5. The pies alone are a good 4/5 (but the banana cream pie is a 4.5/5)

Tartine banana cream pie is 5/5
